Marketing & Resource Development Coordinator Position - PART TIME

Rhythmic Gymnastics Alberta (RGA) is growing! Reporting to the Executive Director, the Programming & Marketing coordinator will be responsible for the development and execution of a marketing plan and related resources, that aim to raise awareness of Rhythmic Gymnastics programming in Alberta, in order to grow the sport and increase participation at all levels. Marketing campaigns would include but are not limited to social media, website, print materials and media events and would also include the coverage of RGA events. In addition, this position would include the development of resources pertaining to both existing and new RGA initiatives. Resources may include web content, print materials, graphic and product design and involvement in the delivering of these materials to our members. This position would also support the Event Producer with the preparation and execution of RGA events such as Zones, Provincials, Provincial Gymnaestrada as well as National events such as Westerns, Elite Canada and Canadian Championships as well as courses and camps run throughout the year. As such, this position will require the ability to travel, work occasional weekends and carry equipment in and out of venues. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Business, Administration, Arts, Media or Graphic Design Experience with multi Social Media platforms and content creation Extremely proficient in writing and wordsmithing as well as Word, Excel and various MS Office programs Experience with event or volunteer management Experience working with a non-profit sport organization Excellent time management skills and able to work both individually and with a team and has excellent project management skills The successful candidate is expected to contribute positively to the implementation of RGA’s Vision and Mission, operate in a collaborative team setting, and maintain high productivity levels and quality of work. Ideally, the candidate for this position would reside in the Calgary region or in locations outside of Edmonton in order to extend RGA’s administrative presence in the province and reduce travel for Edmonton staff. This position would be a work at home position and a computer and office equipment will be provided for a home office. This position offers a flexible, 20 – 25 hour work week and would occasionally require additional hours in relation to RGA events. Competitive hourly wage based on education and experience.
